Ayo Dalgety-Dean, Board Member
Founder and Managing Director of Blossom Inc.
Family Therapist, Finance Analyst and Community Volunteer, Ayo Dalgety-Dean left Guyana for the UK in 1990. There she was educated, completing post-graduate work in Systemic Practice with Children and Families. She worked as a Finance Analyst for 8 years before having a career change into Family Therapy / Project Manager.
As a Family Therapist, Ayo managed programs for families in the UK, recruiting, training and supervising staff and developing care plans, services and activities for service users (children and families) living under difficult circumstances.
In addition to her work as a Family Therapist and Finance Analyst, Ayo managed the roll out of the Dalgety Herbal Tea products, to European and Caribbean markets.
Ayo has been an active volunteer in the UK and Guyana for many years. Today she a is practicing Systemic Therapist, past Vice President and past Treasurer of the Inner Wheel Club of Georgetown Central, past Chair of the Visiting Committee for Children’s Homes, member of the Adoption Board and is Founder of Blossom Inc.
