Shaundell Shipley, Programme Manager
Shaundell Shipley has more than 16 years management and consulting experience in the public health, social services and service industry. As a Manager, she has coordinated international and local NGO programs for vulnerable and at risk children, families and marginalized groups.
She is a graduate of the University of Guyana, Cambridge International University and an I-TECH trained Trainer-of-Trainers.
Ms. Shipley has co-authored two publications, “Supporting PEPFAR Guyana Transition Planning for HIV Prevention, Care, and Support Services in the NGO Sector, 2014” and “The Ministry of Health Guyana Policy against Stigma and Discrimination, 2010”. During her years in Public Health she has also submitted two abstracts to the Caribbean AIDS Conference in 2011 and the International AIDS Conference in 2012 and they were both accepted for poster displayed.
Shaundell is a recipient of the 2016 International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) Exchange sponsored by the USA State Department where she participated in field activities and professional meetings to: explore the U.S. judicial system with special emphasis on the legal structures in place to protect children; examine the juvenile justice system and best practices in the treatment and rehabilitation tailored to the needs of juvenile offenders and their families; illustrate international cooperation efforts to combat trafficking in children and child exploitation; resolve cross-border child custody disputes and to implement the Hague Convention on International Child Abduction.
